Serving Troy, MI

Nissan’s line of crossover SUVs holds several impressive options for you to consider. The Rogue and the Murano are in the middle of the 2021 lineup, and they are strong contenders for drivers who are in the market for a two-row model that is loaded with features. While the Rogue and the Murano share many traits, their differences establish individuality and could guide your crossover SUV selection. Which of these models will you settle your full attention on after you get more familiar with their abilities and features?

Performance

Differences between the 2021 Rogue and the 2021 Murano begin with their performance capabilities. The Rogue pulls 181 horsepower from a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder gas engine. In comparison, the Murano has a 240-horsepower, 3.5-liter V6 engine. While they have different powertrains, they share many mechanical features. For example, they both have a front strut suspension, a rear multi-link suspension, and a continuously variable transmission with overdrive.

Appearance

The Rogue and the Murano share a V-Motion grille design, but their styles are beautifully different. The smaller Rogue shows off a fresh look for the 2021 model year. The LED headlights have a stacked appearance, and they are mounted in a squared-off nose. The Murano’s nose is strikingly rounded, and its aerodynamic design is highlighted further by the sharply angled headlights. Foglamps, a power liftgate, and heated side mirrors are offered in select trim levels for both models.

Features

The 2021 Rogue is a roomy crossover with a fold-down function for the second row’s seatback. The Murano is a slightly larger crossover with a similar configuration. In both of these Nissan models, you can appreciate features like a quality sound system, power-adjusting front seats, rear parking assistance, cruise control, a trip computer, an anti-theft system, an auto climate management system, smart device connectivity, and many additional features.
